Your dog isn’t broken. They’re overwhelmed.
Practical, structured support when anxiety, reactivity or aggression is controlling everyday life.
A behaviour Assessment.
Reactive or aggressive dog Assessment £95. Two dogs or more £125. Sessions from £75 an hour.
Behaviour is a relationship, not a switch.
Reactivity isn’t “bad behaviour”. It’s stress, confusion and overwhelm. Aggression isn’t dominance. It’s confusion, fear, over-arousal, or a learned response that’s been rehearsed for too long. D.O.P.E helps owners understand what is feeding the pattern, improve handling and teach a more useful response.
We don’t suppress behaviour. We reshape it through clarity, structure and trust. When communication becomes clean, pressure reduces, and the dog finally feels safe. That’s when real progress begins.
The human side of behaviour change
Living with a dog who is struggling is hard on people too. Many owners come to us feeling out of their depth: anxious before every walk, embarrassed by reactions they can’t control, or quietly worried that they caused the problem. That weight is real, and it matters, because your dog feels it in your hands, your voice and your timing.
Part of our work is helping you find the confidence to become the mechanism for change in your dog’s life. We show you what your dog is telling you, what to do in the moment, and how to stay calm and clear when things get difficult. As your skills grow, so does your dog’s trust in you. You go from feeling out of your depth to actively helping your dog recover, and the two of you grow together along the way.
Two behaviour programmes
Anxious and reactive dogs
For dogs who bark, lunge, freeze or shut down around dogs, people, traffic or noise. Three levels, Discover, Optimize and Perfect, that build safety and trust, reduce reactivity, and prove calm behaviour in the real world.
Aggression rehabilitation
For dogs who growl, lunge, snap, bite, guard or act unpredictably. A single, complete 15-session programme built around four stages, Discover, Optimize, Perfect and Excel, that train the owner and reshape the dog’s behaviour from the inside out.

An Assessment is required before any behaviour work begins. Sessions are from £75 an hour.*
*Every behaviour plan is built at your Assessment, so the number of sessions you need depends on your dog.
What changes
Reactivity fades and aggression gets replaced when:
- You communicate clearly
- You lead with consistency
- You control the environment
- You give the dog a job that makes sense to them
Most aggression is caused by confusion and poor handling timing. We fix the communication, not the dog’s spirit. Every behaviour programme starts with a structured Assessment, so the plan is built on your dog’s real triggers, history and home, not a guess.
